Practice 2.4: The Arms (Beginner)

Letting the arms rest in the present moment

This beginner practice invites gentle awareness of the arms and hands and how they rest. There is no correct placement and nothing to arrange.

You are welcome to let the arms land naturally over the knees or legs, with the palms resting down, or wherever they feel at ease.
Small, mindful adjustments are welcome.

This practice continues the Beginner Meditation series by helping the upper body soften and settle.

Part of the Beginner Practice series from 2.1 to 2.10, also available as part of Sacred to the Bones.
